The passing of Gordon Maurice Boyce of Penniac, NB, husband of Barbara (Kendrick) Boyce occurred on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 8, 1929 in Penniac, NB, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Wilkins) Boyce. In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his grandchildren, Julie (Jon) Roe and Patrick (Natalie) Clayton; great grandchildren, Craig and Matthew Allen, Madison Clark and Emily Roe; son-in-law, Ray Haines; brother-in-law, Bill (Mavis) Kendrick; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Verna Ballance; special friend, Wayne Brown. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Glenda Haines and brother, Lloyd Boyce. Although there will be no visitation by request; a Private Graveside Service will take place in Penniac United Church Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
