The passing of Anna Elizabeth Whitehead, of Fredericton, occurred on June 4, 2010 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on April 29, 1915 in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Leah Whitehead. Anna was a supervisor for Vital Stats Department of Health and Social Services for 38 years, she was then was a homemaker for Red Cross for 14 years. She was affiliated with Grace Memorial United Baptist Church. Anna is survived by her daughter, Nancy Gayle Graham (Ronald) of Fredericton; two grandchildren, Ronald "Chuck" Graham (Nancy) of Fall River, NS and Shelly Graham MacFarland (Chris) of Fredericton; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon Graham both of Fall River, NS; one great great grandchild, Cohen; four sisters, Hilda of Fredericton, Vida of ON, Edith and Hope both of Montreal, PQ; two brothers, Arthur and Harold both of ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Walter Whitehead. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home Ltd., 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery.
