Co-Owner and Operator of D'Amour's Auto Body Shop on Riverside Dr., Fredericton. He was a member of St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church. A veteran of WWII, he served overseas in England and Holland with the Canadian Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic. Louis is survived by four daughters, Marie Therese Gallie of Portugal, Anne Marie D'Amour of Fredericton, Rose Marie D'Amour (Mark Fraser) of Fredericton and Imelda Marie LeFluffy (Alex) of Vancouver; one granddaughter, Stephanie Marie Forsythe (Bill) of Stellerton, N.S.; one brother, Albery D'Amour (Geraldine) of Fredericton; one sister, Mary Albert of Rimouski, Quebec; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and his wife Edna May (Crossan) D'Amour (2006). The family will receive condolences at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, June 7, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church, Fredericton on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 12:00 Noon with Father Gerald White as celebrant.
