Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on June 4, 2010, of Helen Catherine Gill (nee O'Connor) of Elliotvale in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) J. Gill. Beloved mother of Clara (Bob) Zamagni, Margaret (Earl) Proctor, Leona (Mike) Beagan, Billy (Margaret), Sheila (John) Hayden, Theresa (Ernie) Davey, Geri (Richard) Gallant, Leo (Cathy), Freda (Brian) Avery, Bernadette (George) MacInnis, and Helen (Mark) Lanigan. Survived by her sister Cecelia Creed and brother, Eugene (Helen) O'Connor. Predeceased by her husband, Bill, her brothers, Arthur (infant), and Leonard, her sister, Mary McGuigan, her Brothers-in-law; Bill McGuigan and Maurice Creed, and Sister-in-law, Reta O'Connor. Cherished grandmother of 39 grandchildren (four deceased), and great-grandmother to 33 great-grandchildren. Resting at the St. Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Church, St, Teresa's, on Sunday, June 6, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2010, at St. Cuthbert's, St. Teresa's, at 2 p.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made the the St. Cuthbert's Cemetery Fund. Interment in the parish cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
