The death of Frank E. Webb occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, June 4th, 2010. Born in North Battleford, SK. He was the son of the late Ernest and Monicia Webb, and the husband of the late Edith MacDonald Webb. Frank was a veteran of WWII having enlisted in the Royal Air Force in 1939 and retired in 1945 as a Royal Canadian Airforce Flying Officer. He later worked for the Canadian Forestry Services as Research Manager. He was a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4, the Canadian Air Force Association and the Fredericton Garrison Club. Survived by one son, Brian Webb of Montreal, PQ; he is survived by his brother, Robert of Saskatoon, SK and sister Mona Gilstrap, of Victoria, BC; one step-son, Duncan MacDonald (Pam) of Fredericton; he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Beulah Johnson Webb; sisters, Winnifred, Edna and Ruth Webb and his brother Arthur.
There will be no visitation by request. A Graveside Service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 at 11:00 am. The Very Rev. Keith Joyce will officiate. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold a tribute service at the cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Chalmers Hospital, Christ Church Cathedral or a charity of the donor's choice.
