Lois Ann Halliday formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., Stellarton, New Glasgow and Sydney, N.S. passed away peacefully at MacEwen Mews Seniors Residence, Margate P.E.I., Feb. 13, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Woodville and Katherine (Keswick) Ingram, her first husband, Earle D. Sutherland, an infant daughter, Erdine, her second husband, Donald W.Halliday and her sisters, Elizabeth Noonan, Jessie Macdonald and Janet McDonald. Left with many loving memories are her daughter, Katherine Schaefer (Dr. Paul), Summerside, P.E.I.; sons, Wilbert Sutherland (Jody), Truro, N.S., Rev. David Sutherland (Irma), St. John’s N.L.; stepson, Fraser Halliday (Ethel), Calgary, Alta.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Lois’s life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia Saturday May 23, 2009 at 2pm. Interment at Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow, N.S. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Summerside Presbyterian Church Building Fund through Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, P.E.I
