Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Diana M. Noseworthy (nee Dale) announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 66 years, Gerald E.; two daughters: Trinda (Vernon) Connell of Nova Scotia and Janice (Jerry) Pinksen of Ontario; three sons: John (Meline) Noseworthy of Stephenville, Gerald R. (Doreen) Noseworthy of Stephenville and William (Judy) Noseworthy of Alberta; one sister, Marjorie Stevenson of St. John's; one sister-in-law, Margaret Dale of St. John's; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard & Grace Dale; two sisters: Evelyn (Addy) Marakoswki and Rita (Slim) Basile; two brothers: Chesley (Lottie) Dale and William Dale. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday, June 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Russell's Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville, with Rev. Coombs and Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
