Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, of Mrs. Gladys MacLean (nee Fouchere) of Charlottetown, age 81 years. Beloved wife of Harold “Harlie” MacLean. Dear aunt of Glen (Janice) MacDonald, Daryl MacDonald, Gladys MacDonald, Dorothy (Tim Mair) MacDonald, John (Pearl) MacDonald, Dana (Kelly) MacDonald, Dianne (George Johnson) Murray, and Rudolph (Sharon) Fouchere. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Irene (Batchilder) Fouchere, brothers and sisters Howard Fouchere, Rudolph Fouchere, and Constance MacDonald, infant children Edison and Vincent Fouchere, and nephew Merrill Fouchere. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held on Friday at St. James Church, Georgetown, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the parish cemetery.
