89 years. Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Predeceased by his parents William John and Alice Osbourne, two infant children Fred and Winnifred, brothers John, David, Thomas and sister Ada, son-in-law Roderick. Leaving to mourn after 66 years of marriage, his loving wife Winnifred; daughters: Ethel (Dennis) and Donna; grandchildren: Kim (Doug), Fred (Pamela) and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Hilary and Robyn; sisters-in-law: Eileen and Grace, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends, and special friend Gwen. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation hours Friday, May 15 at 2 to 4 and 7: to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 2 p.m. from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne with Reverend Shirlie Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at the St. Barnabas Cemetery, Blaketown. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the St. Barnabas Church Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
