Barbara Myrtle Carhart was born in Harper Settlement; NB on March 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Helena (Hunt) Rouse. As well as her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sisters and their husbands, Mildred Sharp (Ronald) and Dorothy Fawcett (Harold); her brothers: Charles and his wife Julia (Travis) and Jim (Harold); an infant daughter, Valerie (Candy's twin); her son, Lawrence (Larry); as well as nephews: Gary Sharp and Raymond and Frank Rouse and her niece, Judyth Paris. Left behind to miss her are her children: Wayne Rouse of Welland, ON, Arielle Hunter and her husband Billy of Knightville, John of Mount Middleton, Candace of Sussex and Janet Tabor and her husband Arthur of Passekeag; also left behind are her grandchildren: Gerard Rouse (Gwenn), Jimmy (James) Rouse, Carol Witt (Lyle Wellman), Suzanne Touahria (Mohammed), Deanna Lock (Bob), Tina (Christina) Hunter (Darryl Loui), Rachel Carhart (Shaun Bragdon), Kelly Carhart (Robert Lee), Angela Wooden (Norman), Jennifer Stewart and Judson Carhart; her great grandchildren: Marissa, Derrik and Carson Rouse, Skyla Witt, Emmitt Wellman, Adam Touahria, Ethan Bragdon, twins: Mandi and Josie Lee, Autumn and Karmen Wooden, Madison and RayLynn Stewart and Jaxson and Kadeance Carhart and by her sister-in-law, Ruth (Carhart) Rouse.
Barbara Myrtle Carhart of Mount Middleton, NB passed away at the Sussex Health Center on June 10, 2010 at the age of 89.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176), At Barbara's request no visitation will be held.
A Celebration of Barbara's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 at 2:00pm.
