Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, Albert Reid of Dildo, aged 91 years (predeceased by his first wife Hazel and daughter Ruby). He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Muriel, daughters Doreen Housell (Gordon), Christine Pitcher (Wayne), son-in-law Wayne Fitzpatrick and sister Marion Moore LeDrew; stepsons and stepdaughters: Harold, Graham, Cecil, Ted, Stewart, Margaret, Orpha and Edna and their families; also grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and a large circle of friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Thursday, May 14th from 2 to 10 p.m. and Friday, May 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corp on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army TBS Corps Building fund.
