Donald Bain ‘Skipper’ Montgomery died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 in Sydney. He was 62 years old.
He was the adopted son of the late John and Georgina (Bain) Montgomery of Jersey Cove.
He is survived by his aunt, Dorothy Montgomery and cousins, Robert and Carl Campbell, Marie, Harold and Marilyn Montgomery and Sandra Bain.
The family would like to thank all the folks “on the hill†on East Broadway who were so kind to Skipper over the past several years.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Pinehill Cemetery, River Bennett on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 3 p.m. with Dianne Kempt, DLM officiating. This will be followed by a reception at St. Ann’s Bay United Church tea room.
Arrangements are under the direction of MacAskill’s Funeral Home.
