The passing of Saengwoo "Simeon" Lee, husband of Sun Kyung of Fredericton, NB occurred on June 13, 2010 at his home. Born in South Korea on February 25, 1960, Simeon was a son of Soon (Ahn) and the late Chang Lee. He owned and operated Lee's C-Mart on University Avenue from 2004 until 2009 where he greatly enjoyed interacting with everyone that came in. Simeon was involved in various activities at St. Dunstan's Church. Prior to his move to Canada, Simeon worked for Hyundai in Korea as an administrative manager for 20 years. In his free time Simeon enjoyed golfing, Kingswood and reading. In addition to his wife and mother, Simeon is survived by two daughters, Julia Lee and Hanna Lee; six brothers and sisters; chosen brother, Bernard Parent; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Dunstan's Parish on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 12 Noon with Rev. Gerald M. White as celebrant. Interment will take place in Hermitage Cemetery.
