It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Sheppard (nee Green) announce her passing on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories of 35 years, husband Frank; her sisters: Mrs. Rita Bridger and Mrs. Nancy McDonald; nieces: Sharon (Derek) and Paulette (Michael); nephews: Glynn (Rebecca) and Douglas (Brenda); great-nieces: Carla (Roger) and Jana; great-nephews: Glynn Jr., Ian and Daniel; her great-great-nephews: Brandon and Dylan; her extended family: Beaton (Susan), Marjorie (Lorne), Winston (Bernice), Marilyn (Dan) and Sherman (Jackie); also a large circle of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Mabel Sheppard, Eva Sheppard, Cyril (Millicent), Douglas (Rose) and Sherman (Blanche ) Hoddinott; also a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Florence Green; brothers-in-law: Ian Bridger, Michael McDonald, William Sheppard, Otto Sheppard, Lemuel Vincent; and sister-in-law, Jessie Vincent. Funeral service will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, today, Friday, at 2:00 p.m. with Canon Meade officiating. Cremation to follow with interment on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. from the Anglican Cemetery on Farm Road. By request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael’s & All Angels Anglican Church Accessibility Fund.
