Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, June 13, 2010, Stephen B. Gear of Carbonear, age 56 years. Predeceased by parents: Patrick and Josephine Gear. Leaving to mourn wife Marilyn; two daughters: Jenny (Andrew) Best and Angela (David Byrne), both of St. John's; one granddaughter Maren Pearl; three brothers: Kevin (Joan), St. John's, Patrick (Sandra), Dunville and Tom (Linda), Carbonear; three sisters: Mary (George) Gaulin, California, USA, Jenny (Ted) Mullaly and Vonnie (Ken) Yetman, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, June 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Inurnment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
