Verna B. Randall of Zealand passed away June 15, 2010 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1934 at Zealand, she was a daughter of the late Carney and Erma (Morehouse) Estey. Verna loved to play bingo and listen to old fashion country music. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and spending time with her family. Verna is survived by four daughters, Rosalie Randall and friend Orville, Betty Randall-Brewer and friend Edwin, Charlene Roden (Wade) and Sharon Gilbert (Eugene), all of Zealand; two sons, Roger Randall and Danny Estey (Sylvia), both of Zealand; four sisters, Charlene Brown, Geary, Mavis Estey, Oromocto, Erma Somerville (William), Taymouth and Zella Tompkins (Merlin), Southampton; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vaughan Randall in 1997and one granddaughter, Laura Lynn Gilbert.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Arol Brewer officiating. Interment in Stone Ridge Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darren Randall, Martin Randall, Brian Roden, Randy Moss, Dwayne Moss and Jon Randall.
