September 7, 1932 - May 13, 2009. Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, John Butler of Hant’s Harbour, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents Wilbert and Sophia (Stacey) and son Willis. Leaving to mourn wife of 47 years, Olive (nee Morgan); three daughters: Pauline (Earl) Ash, Edmonton, AB; Darlene (Paul) Coates, Winterton and Alison (Rick) Ash, New Chelsea; eight grandchildren: Melissa and Stephen Ash; Sarah, Suzanne and Riley Coates; Kendall Ash and Roger and Travis Butler; daughter-in-law Beverley (Troy); three sisters Pearl Evans, Jean Thomas and Delphine (Albert) Jacobs; also a large circle of extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Thursday and Friday 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 - 12:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army, Winterton. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant’s Harbour.
