Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, Mr. George W. Reid of Coley's Point, aged 78 years. Predeceased by parents: William Jasper and Laura Reid (nee Noseworthy); sister Iva, brother Roy, grandchild Robin, brother-in-law William Russell. Leaving to mourn wife Rita Rose Reid; sons Clyde (Alison) Reid, Wayne (Ivy) Reid, Keith (Colleen) Reid; daughter Joan (Glyndon) Snow; sisters Audrey (Raymond) Upshall, Ella Russell; brothers Ronald (Jessie) Reid, John (Elsie) Reid; grandchildren Jason (Cindy), Michael (Amanda), Andrew (Andrea), Brandon (Nichole), Bradley, Caroline, Kolby, Ethan; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Wednesday 7-9 p.m., Thursday 10-12 Noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Friday 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Coley's Point. Interment in the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Coley's Point.
