Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's on Saturday, June 12, 2010, Alice Cleary of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: Richard; parents: William and Christina Reynolds; brothers: Frank, Bernard, Tom, William and Richard 'Dick' and eight sisters-in-law. Left to mourn with loving memories, four daughters: Thedie (Chuck) Parisi, St. John's, Cabrini Miller and Bernice (Stephen) Hearn, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Paula (Gary) Browne, St. John's; one son: Mac (Maxine), Summerland, BC; fifteen grandchildren: Nicole (Greg), Robert (Margaret), Connie (Brian), Nancy (Seth), Chris (Kelly), Terry (Linda), Tony, Richard (Crystal), Christopher (Pam), Danielle, Greg (Pippa), John (Kerri), Niki, Peter (Estelle) and Andrea (Ross); fourteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Rose Reynolds, Gander; special friend: Rita Shugarue, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Pratt Place and Fairhaven for their excellent care and all those who helped Mommy Cleary on her journey. Fr. Bill Hearn and Fr. F. J. Aylward conducted the funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 15 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
