The death of Melvin J. Savard, loving spouse of Pauline Rousselle, occurred on June 16, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1952 in Saint John he was the son Anne Savard and the late Zephirin Savard. Besides his loving wife Pauline he is survived by his son Mario Savard at home; brother Gilles Savard of Lavillette, NB and sister Bregitte Savard of Lagaceville, NB; second family Jeannette, Linda, Denise, Anne, Raymond, Wayne, Joseph, Raymond and Paul; several brothers and sisters in law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his father he was predeceased by his maternal mother Clara Thibodeau.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francois de Sales on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11 am.
