Kerr, Christina Zelma
July 14, 1916 - June 12, 2010
Christina Zelma Kerr passed away peacefully June 12, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mac on Nov 23, 2005, her parents Lillian and Robert L. Munro and her siblings - Lillian Robinson, Robert A. Munro, Albina Dunne, Norma Munro and Natalie Kerr. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Zel was born in Moose Jaw, grew up in Weyburn and after finishing her training as a hair stylist, worked in Prince Albert. She married Maxwell Kerr in Jan, 1942, and they lived in the Maritimes while he was stationed there with the R.C.A.F. Following Mac's discharge they moved to Regina where Mac worked with the Federal Government in P.F.R.A. Zel worked at the Grey Nuns' School of Nursing in Library Services in the 60's and 70's until Mac was transferred to Saskatoon and then to Moose Jaw. Zel was very independent and with the help of kind people in Moose Jaw was able to live on her own until a month ago, when she was admitted to Pioneers Lodge. We are grateful for the excellent care she received while there. We also wish to thank Dr. B. Sanderson and the doctors and nurses who took care of Zel over the years. In accordance with Zel's wishes, there will be no funeral. Arrangements are entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel. Blair Scott, Funeral Director.
