Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Pearl Davis, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband William, parents Robert and Mary Garland, sisters Gussie Crane, Frances Noseworthy and Clarrie Davis, sister-in-law Winnifred Davis. Leaving to mourn two sons Eric (Joyce), St. John's and Winston (Violet), Kennebunk, Maine; five grandchildren Eric Davis and Adam Davis (Jenelle Butterworth), Goulds; Heather Davis (Stephen Bosnac), Claremont, New Hampshire; Christopher Davis (Tracy), Wells, Maine and Stephanie Davis (Chris Holley), Burlington, Maine; two great-grandchildren Stephen Bosnac and Ezra Davis; brother George (Ruby) Garland, Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South.
