Suddenly, yet peacefully, at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Barb Larone and dearly remembered by his first wife, Ruby Cairns. Father of three daughters: Leanne Burgraff (Derek), Susan Goldstein (Dave), and Janice Pearcey (Ann); a stepson and stepdaughter and eight grandchildren. Dear stepson of Helen Pearcey of Toronto, Ont. Brother of Barb Fowler (Len), Vancouver, B.C.; and uncle to Kim and Kevin. A celebration of his life was held in Kingston, Ontario. If so desired, memorials can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. John’s ashes are with his youngest daughter, Janice, in P.E.I., where he always wanted to retire.
