Brian Darrach, 65, of Tampa, Fla., passed away suddenly of natural causes Saturday, April 25, 2009. He is survived by his son, Garth of South Carolina; two granddaughters, Jessica and Deanna; two brothers, Garth (Evelyn), of Winnipeg, Canada, and Donald, of Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Gayle Pugh of Tampa, Marlene Cantrell (Phillip) of Atlanta, Ga., and Sally Holubitsky (George), of Winnipeg, Canada; nieces, Kate, Heidi, Jane, Allison, Jami, Jennifer and Marcie; and nephews, Jeffrey and Todd. Brian served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and lived most of his adult life in Tampa. Brian was involved in the food and beverage business, and was an avid sports enthusiast who never missed a home Lightning Hockey game.
