The passing of Betty Ann Howe of Fredericton, NB, wife of Arnold Howe occurred on Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 6, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian McCarty. Betty was a supervisor at the Fredericton Inn. She was affiliated with the Devon Park Baptist Church and attended the Sunset Church. Betty Ann enjoyed camping, enjoyed church and looking after her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Betty Ann is survived by her daughters, Diane Howe and Janettte Ruganda both of ON; sons, Terry Howe (Jennifer), Curtis Howe and Rick Howe (Tania) all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jeremy, Tamara, Larissa, Jaiden, Kyle, Kyla and Jordyn; great grandchildren, Noah, Navaya, Tamecah and Jaynee; eight sisters, Loretta, Georgina, Sandra, Doreen, Rose Marie, Judy, Valerie and Christine; eight brothers, Thomas, Gerald, Bobby, Reid, Brian, Junior, Wayne and Roger; several nieces and nephews.
Although there will be no visitation by request; a funeral service will take place at Sunset Church on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Joseph Beesley officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
