BROWN, Laura– Died peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 103 years. Predeceased by her husband Llewellyn in 1980. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, two sons: Wilson (Dodie) and Gerry (Lorraine); daughter Dorothy (Chris North); five grandchildren: Clifford and Allison Brown and their mother Coleen May, Wendy Tucker (Paul), Glenn Hodder (Cassie), Lori Hodder (Norm) and their father Howard Hodder; six great-grandchildren: Krista, Ingrid, Natasha, Ashley, Kayla and Zachary; three great-great-grandchildren: Niamh, Saoirse and Julian; nieces and nephews and many friends. Sincere thanks to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, 2 North and the staff at Hillcrest Estates for their care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Friday, October 3, 2008, from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Amherst Cove, on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Service to take place at St. Nicholas Anglican Church on Sunday, October 5, 2008 with interment to follow.
