formerly of Bell Island, aged 66. Gen passed away at her home is Solway, MN after a long courageous battle with cancer on May 14, 2009. She leaves to mourn loving husband Bob, three children Velda (Scott) Beck, Bobby (Gretchen) and Cheryl (Paul) Shough and eight grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings Florence (Ray) Whalen, Theresa (Arch) Durdle and Val Richards all of Bell Island, Vince (Jean) Richards of Oshawa and Eileen (John Whitty) of Fort McMurray and a large number nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place in Solway, MN.
