Passed away at the Grand Bank Health Centre on Friday, June 18th, Freeman Purchase of Lamaline, age 70 years. Predeceased by father and mother Albert and Bethina Purchase and brother George; leaving to mourn son Dion(Katrina) of Lamaline, grandson Shawn, granddaughter Brianna, Special friend Carmel Boland, brother Albert(Florence) of Halifax, sisters Jessie(Frank) Patten of Fortune and Dorothy Ross of Burin. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett from St. Mary's Church, Lamaline at 2pm on Monday, June 21st. Interment followed at St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Lamaline. Organist was Susie Lovell. Pallbearers were: Paul Haley, Keith Patten, Douglas Purchase, Joseph Haley, Gerard Boland and Wayne Purchase. Cross Bearer was Shawn Lafosse.
