It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Patricia Bonaparte due to sudden illness on May 15, 2009.
Patricia was born in Sydney, the daughter of Ronald and Sadie Dinn.
Patricia was a member of St. Theresa’s parish. She graduated with her BBA honors in 1985 and also achieved a RCW diploma in 2004. Patty was always a champion for the underdog, for she would help anyone in need and volunteered many hours to reflect this. Her gleaming smile and constant optimism will be greatly missed.
Surviving to mourn her loss are her loving parents, Ronald and Sadie Dinn; sons, Esa Reilly, at home, and Bradley (Carla); daughter, Ashley; grandchildren, Braedon, Reagan and Sierra; sisters, Deborah (Ray) Graham, Sydney, Gail (Charles) Ranni, Lower Sackville, and Linda (George) Piercy, Sydney; and one brother, David (Sharon) Dinn, Halifax. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Ivy and Art Hillier, paternal grandparents, Ronald and Marg Dinn and sister, Maxine.
Visitation for the late Patricia Bonaparte will be held Tuesday, May 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Gaum Room at the Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd., with entrance on Church Street, Whitney Pier. Funeral mass to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church with Fr. James Oliver officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Educational Fund for Son.
