1924 - 2010 - Riverview - John Kinney, 85, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 21st. Born in California Settlement, NB on November 23, 1924, he was the son of the late Harvey and Jane (Montgomery) Kinney. John will sadly be missed by his wife, Bernadette (Robichaud),; his son, Brian (Patricia Thomas) of Riverview; one brother, Phillip (Alice) of Grand Falls; one sister, Blanche McLaughlin of Fredericton; two grandchildren, Jason, Bree; one great grandchild, Kelsey; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, George and two sisters, Rose and Bertha.
Visitations will be held at the Cocagne Slumber Room in the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Friday, June 25th at 12:30 pm, followed by the funeral mass at 2 pm.
