The passing of Wilson Cameron Clowater of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born on February 3, 1951 in Taxis River, NB, he was the son of the late Bennett and Phyllis (Gibson) Clowater. Wilson worked for Wood and Steel Mills in Ontario as a Millwright. He enjoyed cars and playing cards. Wilson is survived by his sons, Bennett, David, Adam, Jody, Troy and Chase all of ON; twelve grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Dale) Fullarton of Stanley, NB; brothers, John (Bonnie) of Astle, NB, Tim (Karen) and Marty (Maria) all of Fredericton, NB; aunts, Evelyn and Eileen; uncles, Ross and Varney; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wilson was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and Anthony.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10 am with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Boiestown, NB with Father Andrew Fraser as officiant. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Parkinson Foundation, St. Peter's Cemetery, Boiestown or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
