It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doug MacArthur on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at the Humber Hospital, Toronto.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late John Ambrose and Christena (MacNeil) MacArthur.
Doug is survived by his wife, Linda (Grabher); daughters, Janice, Sydney, Sandra, Toronto and sons, John (Robin), Mississauga and Corey, Toronto. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Sydney and four grandchildren, Toronto.
Doug is also survived by two brothers, Fred (Rita), Toronto and Jim (Emily), Sydney.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette (Doyle) LaRusic.
Funeral services took place on June 15, 2010 under the direction of Ward Funeral Home 'Weston Chapel', Weston, Ont. Interment was at Beechwood Cemetery.
