It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Bates at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 24, 2010. Mary is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Harold Bates, her children Penny Kilbride (New Maryland, NB), Peter Bates (Vancouver, BC), and David Bates (Montreal, QC) and her grandchildren Adam and Scott Kilbride. She was predeceased by her parents, and brother, James F McClelland. Mary will be fondly remembered for her glowing heart and beautiful smile. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
