Peacefully at Gillis Lodge on Friday, May 15, 2009, of Marjorie Hunter (nee Beaty) of Orwell Cove and formerly of Brockville, Ontario, age 85 years. Beloved wife of Bill Hunter and loving mother of Joan Clow (Carl Fairbairn), of Ottawa, David Hunter (Linda), of Orwell Cove; Alan Hunter (Joyce), of Mississauga, Ontario, and Stephen Hunter (Catriona), of Cardinal, Ontario. Marjorie is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Bernice Beaty. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, May 19, 7-9 p.m. ONLY. Funeral service will be held at the St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge, on Wednesday, May 20, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the church cemetery.
