1928-2010 - Raymond Gordon Ronan, 82, husband of Mary (Bohan) Ronan passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 25th, 2010 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
He was the son of the late Raymond and Stella (Reynolds) Ronan. He was a retiree from Repap Miramichi and a member of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. Besides his wife, Raymond is survived by his three daughter's; Susan (Sheldon) Hovey of Bathurst, Barbara (Chris) Allison and Ann (Bruce) Silliker both of Nowlanville Road Miramichi; his four grandchildren, Lacey and Tyler Hovey, Lindsay Rae Allison and Robert Silliker. Also survived by sisters; Mary Cogar of Youngstown Ohio and Dorothy (Paul) Stewart, Toronto Ontario, and by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Betty Melanson, Eileen Daigle and a brother Edward.
Raymond Ronan is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi on Sunday, June 27th from 7-9pm and on Monday, June 28th from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church with Fr Jim McQuade officiating. Interment will be in Church Cemetery. At the request of the family, donation's may be made to the St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Fund, or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
