TRENTON - Marion M.(Pitts, Burns) McInnis, 80, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010, in the Aberdeen Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Dan J. and Lillian Pitts.
She is survived by her children: Ron (Monica), Sunnybrae; Doug (Karen), Abercrombie; JoAnn, New Glasgow; Mary K. (Seward); Theresa (Ken); Bernadette; Peter (Sandra); Blaine; Donnie, all of Trenton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; sisters, Jean, Stellarton; Patsy, Westville; and a brother, Donnie, Ottawa.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald "Bark" Burns, sisters, Loretta (Sheen), Dorothy, brothers, Dan, Bob and a grandson, David. There will be no visitation at Mom's request. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church with Father Gary MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pictou County V.O.N.
