Alfred Gaudet of St-Joseph, Memramcook passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday June 27, 2010 at the age of 89. Born on November 14, 1920 in St-Joseph, he was the son of the late Arthur Gaudet and the late Albina Gaudet. He worked for National Defense #5 Depot in Moncton until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Memramcook. He is survived by his wife Laurette (St-Onge) Gaudet; four daughters, Claudette (Martin T. Rice) Gaudet of Ottawa, Jocelyne (Larry) Lindquist of Seattle, WA, Roberte Gaudet of Montréal and Claire (Ronald) Gaudet LeBlanc of Dieppe; one son Léo (Shirley) Gaudet of Belliveau Village; two sisters, Soeur Rose-Marie Gaudet n.d.s.c. of Moncton and Aurore (late Adrien) Cormier of St-Joseph, four grandchildren, Anita, Chantale, Julien and Kristen and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Catherine and by six brothers Père Robert c.s.c., Père Romeo, Père Leonard c.s.c., Paul-Eugene, Joseph and Treffle.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook, on Tuesday June 29 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday June 30 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook RC church, St-Joseph on Wednesday June 30, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
