KATHLEEN SCOTT (NEE DINN)

March 19, 1920 - May 14, 2010



On Friday May 14, 2010, our Mother Kathleen passed away suddenly at her home with her son Mike by her side. Her passing was peaceful, as she always wished it would be.

We want to thank everyone who supported us in our loss. Thank you to all who sent flowers, visited the funeral home, telephoned, sent food, cards, email messages or made a donation in her memory. To Dr. Steven Major and his receptionist Mary Walsh for their many years of compassion and care. Thank you to Joe and Andrew Ryan of Ryan's funeral home. You took her home to Bay Bulls and made this difficult time for us much easier.

Thank you to Father Pat Power, Deacon Desmond Keating, the choir and organist. Thank you to Francis Carey for her beautiful singing of Amazing Grace. To Mary Carey we would like to say thank you also. Your help to prepare our children for their participation in the church service was very much appreciated. A very special thank you to our cousin, Father Joe Barton, for your comfort, support and tribute to Mom at her funeral service. You made that day easier to bear as you captured the essence of who she was and the life she lived, in your tribute.

Thank you to Heather and Gary for the use of your home to host our family and friends as we gathered to celebrate Kay's life. Somewhere she was looking down wishing she could have a chat with John Power!!

It is impossible to thank everyone individually but please know that we will never forget your many acts of care and thoughtfulness. May all the happy memories we share of our Mother, Nan, and friend help to replace the sorrow we feel at her loss.
