Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, June 26, 2010, Albert L. 'Les' Pottle of Salmon Cove, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Albert and Alice Pottle; sisters: Kathleen, Florrie, Nina, Allison and Ada; brother: Kenneth. Leaving to mourn, wife: Viola; two brothers: Oliver, New Hampshire and Reuben, St. John's; two sisters: Annie Watson, Toronto, ON and Lavinia Rees, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear.
