Passed suddenly away at St. Clare\'s Mercy Hospital on May 15, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Maxwell Lane (1999); precious granddaughter Nicole Lane (1984); parents Henry and Agnes Saunders; Brothers Douglas, Stanley, and David; Sisters-in-laws Amelia (MIllie) (Reginald) Moore, Verlie (Malcolm) Badger of United States and Phyllis Learning; brothers-in-law Nelson and Cecil. Left to celebrate her life are her sons Douglas (Marilynne) and David (Nancy); sister and best friend Sheila Lane; sister-in-law Joyce Lane; Mona Saunders, Julia Saunders, Scotland and Yvonne Saunders, Australia: brother in law Bill Learning; special friends Judi Dillon-Moore, Delores Wheeler; special nephew Phillip Lane; Also a large circle of family and friends, and her friends at Bishop Meadon Manor. Resting at Barrett\'s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave, on Sunday 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service will take place from The Chapel of The Church of St. Mary the Virgin on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
