On June 16, 2010 Frances Jeanette Pelley of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 70 years. Frances was formerly from Deer Lake, NL. Frances is survived by her long time friend Marion Scheers of Edmonton, AB. Frances is also survived by her five brothers and two sisters: Ken (Carolyn) Pelley of Montreal, QC, Joan (Ray) Tucker of St. John's, NL, Scott (Minetta) Pelley of Deer Lake, NL, Marjorie (Harvey) Williams of Deer Lake, NL, Allister (Betty Anne) Pelley of Deer Lake, NL, Ross (Minnie) Pelley of Corner Brook, NL and Roy (Joan) Pelley of Deer Lake, NL; sister-in-law, Beverly Pelley of Burlington, ON; 19 nieces and nephews plus 21 great-nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her father Malcom in 1992; her mother Janet in 2002; her brothers: David in 2002 and Lloyd in 2006. A memorial service will be held today, Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, with Major Wayne Williams officiating.
