Emery Arthur Brooks, Saint John, NB, passed away June 28 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John. Born in Sussex, on February 19, 1918, he was a son of the late Seymour Edward and Ida Olive (McCafferty) Brooks. Surviving are children, Carol (Brian) McIntyre, St. Martins; Derrick (Janice) Brooks, Thunder Bay, ON; daughter in law, Heather Brooks, Fredericton Junction; grandchildren, Bruce (Kelly) McIntyre; Scott (Sussie) McIntyre; Lori (Chad) Connors; Darren (Michelle) Brooks; Cory (Theresa) Brooks; Kyle Brooks; great grandchildren, Cody and Taylor McIntyre; Taylor and Andrew Brooks; Melissa and Ricky McIntyre; Zoey and Michael Connors; sisters Edith Bell, London, ON; Effie Morton, Rothsey, NB. Emery was predeceased by his son, Garry Brooks; sisters, Queenie Brooks, Jean Bright, Leona James, Bessie Barry; brothers, Edward Brooks, Carl Brooks, Oris Brooks; Gerald Brooks, and Bobby Brooks
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon from Brenan's Chapel. Interment to take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
