Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Earl, at the age of 95 was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary in 2005. Loving father of Harry (Jean), Doreen (Don), Joyce Farwell (Don), Judy Bradish (Harold deceased), Ron (Elma). Cherished grandfather of Crystal (Dwayne), Jim, Earl, Steve (Erin), Walter, Robbie (Alison), Katrina, Miranda, Jeffrey, Caitlin. Special great-grandfather of Deagan, Chaydin, Garrett, Tanner, Alexis and Colby. He will be missed by his sisters Ethel Roy, Olga Philippon and Irene Stroich. Earl was born on December 23rd, 1914 to Thomas and Margaret Fitzpatrick on the family farm near Willow Bunch, SK. He attended the Dutch Hollow School and worked on the family farm until he was able to start his own farm. He was married to Marie Marcotte in 1946 and the couple farmed together until their retirement in 1973. Following their retirement, they enjoyed many years of travel. They lived in Weyburn and Watrous and settled in Moose Jaw in 2004. Earl enjoyed playing golf, cards, and billiards with his friends but he especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. He was also an avid gardener. All of Earl's friends and family are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Tuesday, June 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Parkview Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church 1064-3rd Ave. N.W. Moose Jaw, on Wednesday, June 30th, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
