It is with great sadness that the family of the late Suzanne Sybil Childs announce her death by tragic accident in Lark Harbour, NL on Monday, June 28, 2010, in her 58th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband Howard of 41 years; her two children: Johnny (Kelly) Childs and Melanie (Gerard) Joyce, also Nanny's grandchildren: Kirkland, Mia and Georgia; her mother, Mary Childs; siblings: Garland (Jeanie) Childs, Roslyn (Sam) Sheppard and Heather Travers; sister-in-law, Elizabeth MacDonald; brothers-in-law: Edward (Marguerite) Childs and Stanley (Emma) Childs and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her father, Harold Childs. Visitation will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the St. James Memorial Fund or the VON.
