Réginald Niles, 76, passed away at his home in Petit Cap on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Born October 19, 1933 in Cap Pelé, he was the son of the late George and Alma (Brun) Niles and the adopted son of the late David and Dora (Goguen) LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Gérald Duguay Boat Builder. He was a member of the Club de l'âge d'or in Shemogue. He is survived by two sisters, Orina "Rina" (Niles) Léger (Raymond) and Léona (Bourque) Cormier (late Cloris) both of Shediac, a special nephew Benoit Bourque (Maria) of Cap Pelé and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters: Clarence, Léo and Freddy LeBlanc, Yvonnie, Catherine, Arthur, George, Marguerite, Alyre and Willie Bourque.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at St. Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue.
