LEGAULT , Marie Olivine Therese
Theresa of Ponteix, SK, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 11, at 2:00 AM in Cypress Regional hospital, at the age of 92 years. Prayer service was held on Wednesday, May 13, at 7:30 PM. The funeral service was held at Ponteix Notre Dame D'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 2:00 PM with Father Raymond Carignan officiating. Theresa was survived by her sister, Alma Rouleau; granddaughters, Stacy and Tina Sloman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by husbands, Leo Carignan and Alex Legault; daughter, Cecelia Sloman; son-in-law, Wilbert (Willie) Sloman; father, Philias Cote; mother, Marie Leblanc; brothers, Philippe, Alphonse and Orvila; and sisters, Rosanna, Adrianne, Aurore and Jeannette. Eulogists were Tina Sloman and Collette Chabot; ushers were Paul Andreas and Roland Facette; pallbearers were Lucien Auger, Bob Lovern, John Facette, Roger Entem, Marcel Ginet and Ron Legault. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, jigsaw puzzles, reading books, crocheting and always had lots of candies on hand. She will be missed by her family and friends.
