It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lewis Rowell announce his passing on Sunday, May 17th 2009, in Deer Lake at the age of 70. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Shirley (Kerry) Pardy; Mount Pearl, Terry Tulk (Liz); Ontario, Dennis Rowsell; Deer Lake, grandchildren: Kayla (Matthew), Kyle, Terry, Kayla, Conner, Cameron, Cole and great-grandson Kendrick Joy, as well as a large circle of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doris (nee Tulk), parents Kitty and Joseph Rowsell and 4 sisters. Visitation will be held from Fillatre's Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, Wednesday, May 20th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor David Gifford officiating, Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted, and in loving memory of his late wife Doris donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
