The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, May 17, 2009, of Robert Montgomery, of Lower Bedeque, aged 70 years. Born in Bedeque, he was the son of the late Archibald and Mildred (Craig) Montgomery. Survived by his wife, Lynn (Kohout) Montgomery; son David; daughter Maureen (David) Pearce; grandchildren Katie and Owen Pearce; brother John (Margaret), Vernon, B.C.; and by his mother-in-law, Wilda Kohout, Lower Bedeque. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to the Bedeque United Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday from 6-9 p.m. only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Bedeque United Church would be appreciated.
