The passing of Katherine "Kay" Nellie Estey of formally of Penniac, NB wife of the late Ruldolph Estey occurred on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 12, 1931 in Penniac, NB, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Nellie (Clark) Campbell. Kay enjoyed playing BINGO and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Kay is survived by her children, Roger (Helen), Jeffrey, Carl (Gail), stepson, Rick (Jill) Arbeau, Rodney (Penny), Derrick (Brandy), stepson, Donald Arbeau and Peggy MacDonald; fifteen grandchildren; two step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Marg Richardson (Norm), Connie Gilmore, Betty MacWilliam (Glen), Avis Donovan and Joyce Campbell; brothers, Donnie (Annie), Dave (Marilyn), Benny (Pat) Campbell; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Kay was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Carhart. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2 pm with Pastor Rick Bruce officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be her children. Interment will take place in Lower Durham Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
