At the Grand Falls Manor, July 5, 2010, Mrs. Margaret Adams of New Denmark passed away at the age of 79. She was the wife of the late Perley Adams. Born at Plaster Rock in 1931, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Effie (Briggs) Edgar.
She is survived by her two sons, Brian (Betty) and Brent (Dorothy) of New Denmark, four grandchildren, Clint, Holly, Bradley and Brandon, two great grandchildren, Andrew and Allan, one brother, Douglas Edgar (Helen) of Plaster Rock, one sister, Betty Taylor of Alberta, sister-in-law, Reta Adams (late Wilbert) of New Denmark, nieces and nephews.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, July 8th at 2 p.m. from St. Andrew's United Church, Plaster Rock, with Rev. Steve Longmore officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ansgar's Anglican Cemetery, New Denmark.
